BE Co-ordinator Requirement for Noida

Position Title: BE Co-ordinator

 

Designation & Level: General Manager / AVP

 

Reporting To: Head Business Excellence

 

Location: Noida

 

Experience Profile:

1. Minimum experience desired is 15+ years in API / Chemical / Pharma industry with about 10+ yrs in process engineering / technical services.
2. Hands-on experience in DFSS, Lean and Six Sigma

 

PURPOSE OF JOB

 

Strategize and drive various Business Excellence Initiatives in Manufacturing, R&D, Projects, Technology Transfer, New Product Development in terms of process improvements & innovation to create additional bottomline impact in Mfg, R&D & Businesses by successfully executing improvement projects using Technical Engineering Competencies & BE Methodologies

 

 

Qualification:

1. Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, desirably from IIT / UDCT; Preferred: Masters in Chemical Engineering or Organic Chemistry / Ph.D  in Organic Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
2. Knowledge of Design of Experiments is Essential. Certification is preferred
3. Master Black Belt (Six Sigma). DFSS experience is a must.

 

KEY DELIVERABLES

• Identify opportunities for development and improvement in Process and Operations in line with company goals, strengths and limitations.
• To identify cost reduction, capacity enhancement, process improvements & Innovation projects across the location for each of the plants.
• Creating infrastructure for improvement projects
• Reviewing & Mentoring Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt projects teams to successful completion of projects and ensuring desired savings and benefits to the Organization.
• Collaborate with Business Unit Heads and Functional Heads to seek their support and involvement for timely completion of process improvement and cost reduction projects in each of the Business units.
• Mentor new Product development programs at Jubilant using IFSS/DFSS
• Providing critical inputs to the technical/engineering team for product/process improvisation

 

 

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Preparing material and energy balance sheet, process sheet/estimate sheet, flow diagrams, plant layout and P&I diagrams
• Knowledge of QbD, cGMP, Technology Transfer, Regulatory Affairs.
• Determining right MOC and other specification sheets for various process equipment like pumps, compressors, blowers, piping, valves, pipe fittings, process control instrumentation etc. Hands on experience of developing alternatives of proprietary equipment and spares will be added advantage.
• Scale of designs, techno commercial feasibility studies, DCF calculations, detailed engineering etc.
• Knowledgeable on Design of Experiments(DoE)/DFSS/IFSS/Statistics
• Handx-on experience in lean, six sigma, value stream mapping & theory of constraints
• Scale up of designs, techno commercial feasibility studies; Simultation & Modeling
• Experinece in preparation of Basic Engineering Package
