We are Hiring for a leading MNC in B'lore.....!!!!

Designation: System Engineer

Exp: 3 to 6 years of experience

Technology

1. Good understanding of Unix/Linux (Redhat/CentOS) Servers
   
2. Expertise on Apache Httpd and Tomcat Servers
   
3. Good understanding of TCP/IP protocol stack
   
4. Understanding of services like DNS, DHCP, LDAP etc
   
5. MySQL Database Administration + Replication
   
6. Should have worked on Linux native Filesystems
   
7. Understanding of popular mail servers (postfix/sendmail) and troubleshooting
   
8. Knowledge on Cloud Computing preferably Amazon Web Services (One of the key area)
   
9. EC2 , S3 , Elastic Map Reduce , Elastic load balancing
   
10. Proficient with any of the scripting language (Bash, Perl, Python)
    
11. Technical Documentation of issues and build process
    
12. Exposure to basic Internet facing web server Security principles

Tools

1. Nagios
2. Munin
3. Ticketing tools like Redmine/RT or similar
4. Winscp/Rsync or similar SSH tools
5. Operation Scripts, Node Manager
6. Amazon AWS Management Commands
7. Amazon AWS Management Console

Soft Skills

1. Willing to work in shifts (Japan overlap support time)
   
2. Self motivated and able to take challenges
   
3. Organized and able to work with minimal or no supervision
   
4. Any of "RHCE/RHCA/CCNA/HP-UX CSA" etc certification would be added advantage
   
5. (Preferable Bilingual Japanese)
