As a development engineer, you will be part of the team building the next generation of mission-critical domain name Registries. In this role you will design and develop some of the most visible and exciting products on the internet. You ll leverage industry leading technologies such as Java/Weblogic/Oracle to build high performance, scalable applications in a fast-paced environment

What You Do:

• Develop applications that have a large presence on the Internet
  
• Work on systems with enormous transaction processing requirements and ensure all SLAs are met or exceeded
  
• Learn from the most talented and motivated engineers in the industry
  
• Use industry best practices to deliver high quality code the first time, leveraging open source tools and utilities to automate daily builds and until testing
  
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional organizations including system architects, project managers, quality assurance, product managers and operations.

SkillSet Required :

• 10+ years software development experience, with 6+ years experience in Java
  
• Proficient with JEE (EJB, JSF)
  
• Done design and architecture of scalable platform.
  
• Strong knowledge of databases (preferably Oracle), with 2+ years professional experience developing SQL-based applications.
  
• Experience in building highly distributable systems using multi-thread technologies based on multi tier architecture.
  
• Good experience in standard frameworks including Spring and Hibernate.
  
• Familiar with Web 2.0 concepts and should have developed application using web technologies like JSF, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX.
  
• Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and must have experience in using code review tools, junit framework for test cases.
  
• Organized self-starter with the initiative to work through problems/assignments with little direction
  
• Great communication and problem solving skills
  
• Works well independently and as part of a team
  
• Proficient knowledge of software development methodologies
