Position: Senior Technical Support Engineer
Location: Bangalore, India
Position Description:
Would be responsible to deliver remote diagnostic and technical support and technical services to our domestic and international customers, will be responsible for providing on-line assistance to customers in troubleshooting problems and delivering customized technical solutions.
Technical Skills (or JD expectation)

Expert in the L2/L3 and communications protocol test domain, supporting high-end test products. Excellent understanding of routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP, IS-IS), knowledge of internet protocols such as, FTP, HTTP, knowledge on DHCP, DNS are added advantage

Proficiency in Linux and Windows troubleshooting ability.

Proficient in scripting (tcl/perl),

Experience in the Telecommunications industry would be an added advantage
Soft skills
-
Co-ordinate across cross functional teams (R&D, marketing, sales and manufacturing teams).

Recommending test methods, guiding the technical support across global support teams.

Should be good Team Player, customer focused, self driven/ self motivated
-
Ability to ramp-up fast on new Technologies.

Ability to provide solutions to customers
-
Possess excellent communication skill (written/verbal), interpersonal skills, debugging skills
-
4+ years serviced as technical support Engineer would be ideal.
Qualifications
-
Candidates with 4+ years of experience.

Bachelors/Masters Degreeon Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

CCIE or higher Certified candidates preferred.
