Job Title:  Android Application Developer

Experience: 2 to 5 years

Qualification: B.Tech/BE – Electronics/Computers ( >60% throughout education) 

Job Requirement:

• 3+ years of experience in Android application development
• Excellent understanding of the Android SDK platform.
• Must have developed and delivered Android applications for phones/tables.
• Strong in design and Java programming.
• Strong understanding of Android application development.
• Great understanding of thread management, memory management and other aspects of Java for Android application development.
• Ability to do UI customization
• Excellent understanding of Android's SQLite database and content providers
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience leading and mentoring individual contributors.
• Excellent team player with strong inter-personal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Drawing application experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Android 4.0 (Icecream Sandwitch) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall design and development of Android applications.
• Lead a team of Android development engineers
• Work closely with dev team to come up with best technical design and approach.
• Design and code significant area of Android applications.
• Work closely with customer to discuss the requirements, features feasibility, suggest ideas and finalize the requirements.

• Manage day-to-day activities of the Android development team and follow engineering processes to ensure great design, quality and delivery.
• Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments.
